Cross-Chain Asset Protocol (XCAP)

A proprietary protocol that eliminates token bridges by making assets truly multi-chain with real-time state synchronization.

The Problem of Wrapped Assets

When you "bridge" a token like ETH to another chain like Polygon, you aren't moving the actual ETH. You are locking your ETH in a smart contract on Ethereum and receiving a "wrapped" or synthetic version (like WETH) on Polygon. This fragments liquidity, creates a confusing user experience (as different wrapped versions of the same asset often exist), and introduces the massive security risk of the bridge contract being hacked.

The XCAP Solution: A Single Asset, Everywhere

The Cross-Chain Asset Protocol, built on top of our QOC technology, allows a single token or NFT to exist natively on multiple chains simultaneously. There is no wrapping, no locking, and no synthetic versions. The asset itself has a unified state that is shared and synchronized across all supported networks.

With XCAP, if you own 100 FLUID tokens, you can see and use that same balance of 100 FLUID whether your wallet is connected to XOLIXBlock, Ethereum, or Polygon. If you spend 10 FLUID on Polygon, your balance instantly updates to 90 FLUID on all chains.

How It Works

  1. **Unified State Root:** An XCAP-enabled asset has its "source of truth"—its total supply and the balance of each holder—managed by a Questdriem OmniChain Contract (QOC).
  2. **State Synchronization:** When a user transfers an XCAP asset on one chain (e.g., sends 10 FLUID on Ethereum), the QOC protocol relays a verified state update to all other supported chains.
  3. **Atomic Updates:** This state update happens atomically across all networks. The sender's balance is debited and the receiver's balance is credited in a single, logical transaction that is finalized on all chains simultaneously.
  4. **Native Interaction:** Users interact with the asset using standard wallet transactions on their chain of choice. They do not need to interact with a separate bridge protocol. The cross-chain synchronization is handled at the protocol level.

Key Advantages

  • No More Bridges: Completely eliminates the need for vulnerable asset-locking bridges.
  • Unified Liquidity: Token liquidity is no longer fragmented across different chains and different wrapped versions of an asset.
  • Superior User Experience: Users can seamlessly move and use their assets across any supported chain without the confusion or complexity of wrapping and bridging.
  • True Asset Composability: A dApp on Polygon can directly interact with the true state of an asset that also exists on Ethereum, unlocking powerful new cross-chain DeFi possibilities.
